Merritt’s practice is limited to representing individuals injured due to the negligence of others.  He handles cases throughout the country, involving product defects, construction accidents, premises liability, and other negligence cases.

Merritt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from Randolph-Macon College in 1999. He earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2002. While in law school, Merritt served as staff editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum and was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society.

Merritt is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
