Born and raised in Philadelphia, Zach graduated from West Philadelphia High School and attended Lincoln University as a LASER (Lincoln Advanced Science and Engineering Reinforcement) scholarship student. He left Lincoln after two years and transferred to The Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. After working for several years as a structural engineer, Zach attended law school at Temple University Beasley School of Law. He completed Temple Law’s Trial Advocacy Program and graduated in 2010.
Prior to joining Golkow Hessel, Zach worked as an attorney at a Philadelphia personal injury law firm and an insurance defense law firm. His experience representing both sides gives him a unique perspective in any case. Zach also has experience in municipal law, estate litigation, commercial litigation, appellate litigation, bench trials and arguing before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Zach is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New York. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Zach is a Philadelphia sports fan and lifelong chess aficionado, having actively competed since middle school.
